A lot of bloggers have recently been sharing the cost of real estate in their area. Some of the prices seem decent to me while others are completely mind blowing – especially since I live in such a low cost area.
I thought it would be nice to join the fun. I’ve went through my local MLS service and picked some of my favorite houses in each of the price brackets below.

If you look long enough you can find a mansion for $300,000. But since I rarely do I thought it’d be fun to see what was out there for $500k+ Here is my favorite coming in at $595k. (BTW there were only three properties on the market in the 500-900k range!!)
