If you’re looking for a way to make your budget stretch a little farther, or perhaps you want to creatively save for Christmas for next year, one way to do it is to take advantage of all of the ways to earn free gift cards.
Here are some of my favorite ways to earn free gift cards or cash.
Swagbucks
I love Swagbucks and have been using it for years. Swagbucks is a search engine, similar to Google, only you’re randomly awarded points called “SB’s” when you use the search feature.
Once you accumulate enough SB’s you can cash them in for gift cards. It only take 500 SBs to get a $5 Amazon gift card. Believe it or not, that’s a pretty easy number to attain.
There are also other ways you can earn points, such as:
- Playing games
- Watching videos
- Using coupons
- Completely surveys
- Completing Special Offers
- Using their shopping portal
- Referring other people
I normally earn at least $25 in gift cards each month with fairly minimal effort.
CashCrate
Cashcrate is a site that allows you to complete surveys and participate in special offers to earn free gift cards.
Use a Rewards Credit Card
I have two rewards cards that I alternate, both which allow me to earn credit for Amazon. While this isn’t’ technically a gift card I do have the option to cash in my rewards points for gift cards.
My primary method for earning Amazon credit with my cards is that I link the one with the biggest bonus to my Amazon account. Every time I purchase from Amazon I earn bonus credits that I can use the following month.
Responsibly using a cashback credit card is a very simple way to amass gift cards throughout the year.
Bing Rewards
Bing rewards is a program offered by the Bing search engine. You can earn rewards for simply using their search engine and trying various Microsoft products.
The rewards can then be traded in for gift cards.
Top Cash Back
Top Cash Back is one of the highest paying cashback websites. Simply sign up for an account with them, go through their portal when you shop online, and then choose how you want to redeem the money you’ve earned.
Is there anything I should add to the list?
