Somewhere along the road I’ve kind of veered away from talking about one of my favorite topics: making money!
I’m a big idea person. (Which is a blessing and a curse!) I have so many money making ideas floating around in my head that sometimes it’s hard to know which ones to act on. This gives me a chance to get some of my ideas out of my head and out in the open!
Here are ten ways to make money fast.
Write for Money
While getting freelance jobs is a great way to earn money on the side (or even full time) you can also find one off jobs for fast cash and no commitment.
Just check out these places.
- Textbroker (Minimal cash per article, a wide variety of articles to write)
- Interact Media (Minimal cash per article, a wide variety of articles to write)
- Write a Guest Post for One of These Sites (Good money, slightly harder to get published.)
Rake Leaves, Shovel Snow, Mow Yards
Okay, that’s technically three ideas, but I think you get the point. There is always seasonal yard work that you can do.
Its simple stuff that equates to fast cash – don’t overlook these options.
Become a Night Nanny for Parents of Newborns
I saw this idea on The Penny Hoarder the other day and I absolutely LOVE it. Do you know how much I would’ve paid to have someone come in and stay up all night with my newborn daughters once a week? A LOT of money.
If you love babies, are a night owl, and can find people who will trust you with their newborns, become a night nanny. You could make some serious cash fast!
Hit Up Facebook Yardsales
You all know that I am a big fan of Facebook Yardsales. You list something on there and within a few minutes you’ve got multiple offers.
So if you’re really hard up for cash find something good to sell and put it on Facebook Yardsales.
Walk Neighborhood Dogs/Become a Pet Sitter
Did you know that you can make pet sitting a rather profitable business? That’s what Crystal did anyway.
Aside from being a great business ideas for those who love animals it’s also a superfast way to earn some extra cash. Just start talking to the people who live in your neighborhood and see if they need any immediate help.
Scrap Some Metal
There’s a couple that drives through my neighborhood every single Sunday when people put their trash out and look for metal. (Heck, I even hold metal back for them when I’m throwing something away.) And they make a full time living. Seriously!
My brothers turn to the scrap metal option every time they’re short on cash too. Check with family and friends. See if they have any old appliances or junk piles of metal they want to get rid of. If their answer is yes, offer to take their “trash” off their hands and go cash it in.
Start a Side Hustle
I didn’t want to say get a part time job….because, how boring is that? Instead, start a side hustle.
You don’t need to deliver pizzas or work twenty extra hours a week doing something you hate when you can instead make some money doing something you love.
