Writing “bullshiat money grab” on your parking ticket and then sending it in with your payment could very well get you a real court date in front of a real judge. Apparently they consider that “contempt of court”.

I suppose if the word “bullshiat” hadn’t been included, and the violator had used proper grammar, he might not have been hauled before a judge. It’s a better idea not to write anything on the “memo” line of a check, as doing so can serve as a basis for voiding the payment later on under the UCC. Enclosing a letter protesting the payment as part of a “money grab” by the government would likely fall within the First Amendment. No judge would go near that.
